LSU Football is finally within spitting distance! What a long, dry spell of other insignificant sports and activities. For all the bowling balls and crocheted doilies of the past few months, FINALLY, we get reprieve and the guts and glory of SEC Football in Tiger Stadium! I neither bowl nor crochet, and maybe that would have helped the time pass much faster. It's been maddening waiting for our 2013 football season to start. I may shed a tear! LSU faces some tough opponents this year, but things don't get real until September 21 and the SEC match-up against Auburn. After that, it's a tough schedule until November 9th and the grandpappy of all rematches, LSU vs. Nick Saban. And the Crimson Tide. This one is always personal. It will be interesting to see how LSU rolls this year. Who is or isn't in at quarterback? What might Les say or do? What kind of shenanigans in the off season might come back around to haunt the Tigers in season? Stay tuned. With a little mischief, mayhem and magic, our Fighting Tigers always keep things interesting.
